9G Blonde Melissa

Blonde Melissa continues Butcombe's Melissa series, following on from Bitter Melissa, and celebrates the women who shape brewing today. Originally created to recognise and champion women in brewing, the Melissa beers have become a platform for inclusivity, collaboration, and great-tasting beer and Blonde Melissa proudly carries that story forward. Blonde Melissa pours a pale golden colour with a soft white head, bright and inviting in the glass. Aromatically, expressive yeast character delivers gentle fruity notes of pear and banana, with a subtle hint of light spice adding balance. On the palate, a lightly bready malt base provides soft sweetness, balanced by low bitterness and delicate hop presence. Subtle fruit esters lift the profile, finishing smooth, dry, and crisp. Light-bodied with moderate carbonation, it's an effortlessly drinkable blonde ale built around balance.
